A 2003 internet creature · back to eat everything
BUNCHIESTAKE OVER
The galloping green thing your oldest mutual posted in a forum thread twenty years ago. It never stopped. It multiplied.

Before the memes
every meme coin prays to older gods. this one was born in 2003.
Robinhood Chain is reaching back to the GME era for its meme identity. Cute. Bunchies reaches back further — past GME, past the imageboards, to the year 4chan was founded. A late night, a drawing tablet, and artist Aaron St. Goddard sketching a creature so stupid and so happy that the internet would refuse to forget it for twenty years.
The gallop
it never ran. it never walked. it galloped — through your favorite forum, uninvited.
Roel van Matsbergen animated the creature into the galloping GIF, and a Penny Arcade user named Kelet deployed it the only way that matters: as a nonsense reply in a deadly serious thread. No context. No apology. The thread derailed, the GIF escaped, and by 2004 forums were logging threads titled “Bunchiemania: 56k kicked in the nads.” Dial-up connections waited thirty seconds to watch a green llama-giraffe do its little hop. Worth it, every time.
The creator left one rule carved into the species
there is nosingle bunchie.only bunchies.
Not a brand guideline. A law of nature. The creature exists the way a swarm exists — you never meet a Bunchie, you meet the plural. Every holder, every reply guy, every lurker: the community doesn't have Bunchies. The community is Bunchies.

The infestation, live
watch the green line gallop.
